Sonido y Estilo

La canción recupera por completo el sello de identidad más puro de Johnny Marr. Destaca por tener una base rítmica acelerada y energética impulsada por ese clásico sonido de guitarra brillante y cristalina (sparkle) con arpegios fluidos que tanto lo caracteriza desde sus días con The Smiths. La tonalidad principal de la canción está en Si menor ($Bm$).

Letra y Significado

Según comentó el propio Marr al anunciar el disco, la temática de la canción y del álbum gira en torno a un sentimiento muy actual: el agobio y la sobreestimulación mental provocados por la tecnología y la velocidad de la cultura moderna.

Líricamente, refleja ese estado de confusión y desborde, con frases en el coro como:

"Days keep running through my head / All the things we do when I lose / I spin... There's too much coming into my mind."

(Los días siguen corriendo por mi cabeza / Todas las cosas que hacemos cuando pierdo / Doy vueltas... Hay demasiado entrando en mi mente).

Sin embargo, el artista ha aclarado que no lo ve como una declaración puramente negativa, sino también como una mirada hacia las posibilidades de adaptación en medio del caos.
